Those who know us know how important sustainability is to us.
Since Beginning It was clear that we would have to improve our packaging in contrast to other companies. especially sustainable and especially Plastic- & Aluminum-free want to design it.
That wasn't as easy as we initially thought. How did we get to our can You will now find out how they came and what makes them so special.
Our can
Anyone who has ever bought a protein powder/supplement knows how much Garbage This can occur. Most manufacturers usually package their products in Plastic containers, aluminum bags & apparently sustainable cardboard boxes, which are then coated with aluminum on the inside.
Even though many manufacturers boast that their packaging is recyclable, only a small portion of it is actually recycled. The rest then ends up on landfills in Indonesia or are considered Residual waste burned.
So we set out to develop a can that neither plastic nor aluminum contains and yet food-safe The search began…
So we contacted over 20 different packaging manufacturers. Ironically, in the end only one remained who could meet our criteria.
The named can costs by the way approximately 10 times, like a completely normal round plastic sleeve or one with an aluminum coating.
Normally that would be a severe competitive disadvantage. But staying true to our values is much more important to us!
The Vetain Dose exists now made entirely of paper. The cool thing about it is that it doesn't harm the environment as much. So, once you've finished the protein, you can simply recycle the container. Dispose of it in the waste paper section..
Our conclusion
Sustainability comes at a price, but it's 100% worth it. It would be selfish to live only in the here and now without thinking about future generations. The Earth is humanity's only home, and we should treat it accordingly.
