Unlike Vegan Protein, Clear Protein, as the name suggests, is completely liquid and clear. This makes it perfect as a refreshing drink during or after a workout. Its fruity flavor is more reminiscent of a lemonade than a classic protein shake.
We were tired of artificial, overly sweetened clear proteins. That’s why we use only natural ingredients and real fruit extracts. The result is a pleasantly fruity and sweet taste.
Since we ourselves struggled with food intolerances, we developed our Clear Protein to be completely free of allergens such as gluten, nuts, soy, and lactose. Furthermore, we entirely avoid artificial sweeteners and flavorings, using only natural flavors and fruit extracts. This allows us to guarantee optimal tolerability – no more bloating after your protein shake!
Adequate protein intake is essential, especially during pregnancy. By avoiding artificial additives and conducting regular laboratory tests for contaminants, we guarantee optimal tolerability.
The Clear Protein is sweetened with a fine amount of stevia. The raw ingredient itself has a rather bitter taste, which is why a touch of sweetness is needed to create a fresh, fruity flavour – without sugar, without artificial additives. Natural. Clear. Delicious.
This means you consume about 114 mg of stevia (of which ≈ 110 mg steviol glycosides) per shake. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends a maximum daily intake of 4 mg of steviol glycosides per kg of body weight – so with one shake, you're definitely on the safe side. We also use high-quality steviol glycosides – a plant-based sweetener derived from the stevia plant that is sugar-free, calorie-free, and tooth-friendly.
Our protein powders are not completely lectin-free, but they are low in lectins. Lectins are natural proteins found in many plant-based foods – especially legumes like peas. In larger quantities and in sensitive individuals, they can irritate the digestive system or cause discomfort.
