At Vetain, we are committed both to a sustainable lifestyle and to a clean environment. In addition to our aid campaigns for the rainforest and social projects the sustainability of our products also plays an important role for us. That’s why we pay attention to how we ship our products!
Every day, a courier picks up all processed parcels from us and delivers your order to you. Since October 5, 2020, we have been part of the environmental protection program DHL GoGreen. We offset all CO2 emissions generated during transport and therefore ship climate-neutrally.

What does climate-neutral shipping mean and how does GoGreen work?
Every day we send parcels and letters with DHL. Shipping produces CO2 and burdens the environment. As part of the GoGreen environmental protection program the greenhouse gases generated during transport are then offset through climate protection projects. This means that for every Vetain package shipped, we support a project that protects our climate in the long term.
In addition to offsetting CO2 emissions, the number of electric vehicles and cargo bikes in the DHL fleet is also increasing. This results in less air pollution and less traffic noise in the cities!
What changes for you?
The DHL/DP courier will still deliver your package safely and reliably (now also environmentally friendly). Of course, we cover the previously mentioned surcharge of €0.10 per shipment. And tracking your delivery still works as before. So, nothing changes? Yes, it does, because with GoGreen shipping you’re doing something good with your order, since you are ordering climate-neutrally.

Calculation of CO2 emissions
The CO2 emissions generated by Vetain from postal and parcel shipping are first determined according to international standards. Once the data is collected and evaluated, the resulting emissions are neutralized according to the strict guidelines of the GHG Protocol. This is monitored by an independent organization and verified according to ISO 14064. Finally, we receive a certificate from DHL about our emissions and a report on which projects we support.
