    Soak the dates in hot water for about 10 minutes.

    Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).

    Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a thick, smooth batter. Make sure your dates have no pits or remove them before soaking – your blender will thank you.

    Line a baking pan with parchment paper, pour in your batter, and smooth it out. If you like, you can top it with chocolate chips now.

    Into the oven! Bake your protein brownies at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.
    Important: The brownies should still feel soft. They will firm up over time. So don’t bake them too long, or it will turn more into a chocolate cake.


    Recipe Note

    Tip: If your protein brownies brown on top before the baking time is up, you can cover them with some aluminum foil.
