    Take about 80 g from the 100 g of plant-based milk and heat it over medium heat in a pot. If you want to add some sweetness, you can do so now.

    Meanwhile, stir the starch into the remaining 20 g of vanilla drink until no lumps remain.

    As soon as the milk gets hot and starts to steam, you can stir in the starch mixture and keep stirring until your pudding starts to simmer and slowly thickens.

    Now immediately remove the pudding from the heat and stir in the protein powder vigorously. Again: make sure no lumps remain.

    Depending on the pudding type, you can now optionally add extra ingredients: cocoa for a chocolate pudding, pureed berries for a fruity berry pudding, or a bit more vanilla and turmeric for a creamy taste and a “vanilla-like” color.

    Now cover your vegan protein pudding with cling film to prevent a skin from forming and let it cool.

    Serve your pudding with a dessert sauce, fresh fruit, or simply plain!

    Feel free to get creative with your pudding and really go wild: Use your high protein vanilla pudding as a base for a vegan apple pie or make a quick vanilla sauce as a topping for your protein chocolate pudding. Just cook a vanilla pudding as described above, but add significantly less starch.

    Since you cook your vegan protein pudding with protein powder, you can decide how high the protein content really should be. Add more powder as you like, just keep in mind that the consistency may change! 
    You can also give the pudding the consistency you like this way:

    • With 8 g starch, it becomes more like a thick yogurt

    • With 12 g starch, a creamy pudding

    • With 16 g starch, a firm pudding that holds its shape
