Organic shaker

Do you know that feeling? You put protein powder in a glass, give it a quick stir, and still end up with lumps floating on top. That’s exactly what the Vetain Shaker is for. It combines protein powder and liquid in seconds to make a creamy, lump-free shake - with none of the frustration.

But what makes our shaker special isn’t just how well it mixes, but what it’s made from: The material consists of a granulate made from plastic and plant fibers- or industrial husk waste. Sounds nerdy? It is a little - but that’s exactly what sets it apart from a run-of-the-mill shaker.

To make sure your shake is truly smooth, every product comes with a stainless steel ball . A protein shaker with a ball helps your protein powder dissolve perfectly - whether you choose one of our vegan varieties or mix something else.

And if you’re looking for the perfect contents for your new Vetain Shaker: Our vegan 4K protein powder made from peas, fava beans, pumpkin seeds, and flaxseed has mixed especially smoothly since the improved Version 2 formula. Just an idea. ;)

Honestly: It’s not rocket science, but one small trick really makes all the difference.
Always add the liquid first, then add the powder. For a post-workout shake, 300 to 500 ml of water or plant-based drink is perfectly sufficient. A plant-based drink also makes your shake a little creamier, by the way—give it a try.
Why this order? If the powder goes into the cup first, it tends to stick to the bottom and form stubborn lumps.

Then: add the stainless steel ball, put on the lid, close it securely, and become a professional protein shake shaker. Shaking vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds is more than enough for most shakes. A little tip for plant-based proteins: Let the protein shake cup sit for a moment afterward, then shake it again—this gives it the perfect consistency.

The most common pitfallsToo little liquid, a lid that isn’t fully closed (it’ll be funny, but not in a good way)—and leaving the protein shaker bottle standing un rinsed. But more on that in a moment.

With most shaker bottles, you have a choice between two camps:

• Plastic: It’s lightweight and inexpensive, but usually made from fossil-based materials and ends up in general waste.
• Stainless steel: A plastic-free protein shaker that’s durable and taste-neutral, but heavier.

Both are perfectly valid options - that’s why we also offer our own Stainless Steel Shaker.

But our shaker takes a third route and combines the best of both worlds: It’s molded from a granulate made of plastic and plant fibers or industrial shell waste. That keeps it lightweight like conventional plastic. And if it ever ends up in the trash, it can be recycled as usual in the yellow recycling bin.

In short: Want the lightest everyday model? Then ours is probably the best protein shaker for you. Prefer classic stainless steel for the gym? Then take a look at our Stainless Steel Shaker.

Regular cleaning really is essential – even the best shaker in the world is worthless if it starts to smell unpleasant and becomes unhygienic.

Our tip: Ideally, rinse the empty cup briefly by hand with warm water and dish soap immediately after use to prevent odors from developing. If you leave your shaker in a warm car for hours, you probably already know what happens otherwise – and it’s certainly not pleasant.

The great advantage of our protein shaker: It is dishwasher-safe. So if you don’t feel like washing it by hand, simply put it in the dishwasher together with the stainless steel ball, and you’re done.

If more stubborn odors do develop, leaving a teaspoon of baking soda mixed with warm water in the shaker overnight will usually get rid of them reliably. And remember to clean the seal around the lid occasionally with a small brush too – residue tends to collect there.

Before you grab just any protein powder shaker, it’s worth taking a second look—not every one lives up to its promises. A few criteria that really matter:

• The capacity should suit your daily routine—for most people, 600 to 700 ml is more than enough.
• A tightly sealing lid with a clean seal is essential; otherwise, sooner or later you’ll end up taking an involuntary shower.
• The mixing mechanism determines whether your shakes are lump-free—an all-stainless-steel mixing ball is usually more reliable than a simple strainer.
• And last but not least: Pay attention to the material. A good cup should be free from BPA, plasticizers, and toxins, dishwasher-safe, and ideally recyclable too.

Low-quality shakers often cut corners in exactly these areas—the lid, material quality, or mixing mechanism. It usually catches up with you after a few weeks.

A few key details so you know what to expect from Vetain:

• Capacity: 700 ml – enough for a proper shake after your workout or on the go
• Mixing mechanism: a stainless steel ball included, which ensures optimal mixing and is super easy to clean
• Material: plastic & plant fibers, free from toxins and plasticizers
• Care: dishwasher-safe – yet robust and durable
• Leak-proof design: a tightly closing lid so nothing spills in your bag

The Vetain Protein Shaker comes with all the criteria mentioned above as standard, without any compromises.

If you’re slowly running out of ideas for your shake, here are a few suggestions to try:

• Classic post-workout: 300 ml water or plant-based milk, one scoop of our Vegan Protein in Vanilla or Cocoa, shake briefly—and your quick post-workout drink is ready. Just what a protein shake bottle is for.
• Creamy iced coffee: Simply use cold coffee instead of water, add one scoop of Iced Coffee Vegan Protein, and top up with a little plant-based milk—your shaker instantly becomes your favorite coffee snack for in between meals. It’s even easier with our Iced Coffee Vegan Protein.
• Refreshing summer drink: For those who prefer something lighter: Our Clear Protein dissolves crystal clear in water and turns into a fruity protein lemonade—especially delicious on hot days or straight after your workout.
• Quick pancake batter: It sounds unusual, but it works brilliantly: Add flour, baking powder, plant-based milk, and one scoop of Vegan Protein to the shaker, shake vigorously, and pour directly into the pan. No more mixing-bowl chaos in the kitchen.

The protein shake bottle is more versatile than you might think at first glance, and with the right vegan Vetain powder by your side, even more so.
