Desserts with gingerbread spread:

• Gingerbread yogurt: Super simple, but incredibly delicious! Stir a spoonful of the spiced cream into a yogurt of your choice.
  For a dessert in a glass: cut some gingerbread into small pieces, place them at the bottom of a glass, top with the yogurt and add some warm raspberry sauce — a true (Christmas) delight.
• Gingerbread dessert cream: Add a spoonful of the Christmas spread and Skyr of your choice to a bowl and mix until smooth. Layer it in a glass with speculoos cookies or gingerbread and decorate the dessert with vegan whipped cream, fruit or granola.
  Also delicious: combine the gingerbread spread with cherries for a special touch and add a few jarred cherries between the layers. Chill your dessert and enjoy this festive treat.

• Baked apple with gingerbread aroma: The best of both worlds. Combine your baked apple with gingerbread spice — it doesn’t get more festive than this!
• Vegan gingerbread mousse: Whip unsalted aquafaba with a teaspoon of lemon juice until stiff and fold in the spiced cream and optionally a sweetener of your choice. If the gingerbread cream is too firm, mix it with a little plant milk beforehand.
• Gingerbread mascarpone cream: Gingerbread cream with mascarpone? That sounds suspiciously like a festive tiramisu! Super easy to make and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Baking with gingerbread spread

• Cookies with gingerbread spread
• Cakes with gingerbread spread: simply stir a few spoonfuls of the spread into your batter or swirl it into a light sponge cake.
• Cake with a gingerbread surprise: whip Vetain’s Christmas cream with vegan cream cheese and room-temperature vegan butter, and fold in some stiff plant-based whipped cream (for a fluffy version). Refine the cream to your taste or make your gingerbread cake cream richer in protein with a bit of protein powder. Spread the cream onto your cake base and top with small gingerbread pieces.

Gingerbread spread as a topping
You can also use the gingerbread cream as a spread for your rolls or bread. It’s a delicious way to start your morning with a festive feeling.
