What should you always look for when buying a protein shaker? Exactly – easy cleaning. While we often laughed as kids when our parents insisted that a new product had to be dishwasher-safe, we understand it now. Washing by hand is, first of all, time-consuming, second, annoying, and third, some parts are really hard to clean by hand – small parts and hidden corners make it tricky.
Good news: Vetain’s stainless steel shaker is dishwasher-safe, so it can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The only problem: what if you need your shaker again but the dishwasher hasn’t run yet? Well, then you’ll have to wash it by hand. But don’t worry, with our tricks it’s super easy.

Here’s how: add a drop of dish soap into the shaker and pour in some water. The shaker doesn’t need to be full! Close it tightly and shake it vigorously. Important: don’t accidentally drink this “shake” out of habit – it won’t taste good and definitely won’t give you an extra dose of protein! ;) Pour the soapy water out through the drinking spout. Then open your stainless steel shaker and quickly rinse everything with clean water to remove any soap residue. That’s it – all parts of your shaker are clean.
