Protein powder is like the bicycle: simply one of the best inventions humanity has ever produced. At least, that's what we think! ;) But protein powder can do so much more than the classic shake.
Here, we show you 17 recipes with protein powder that let you quickly and almost unnoticed incorporate protein into your dishes: delicious and varied, from sweet to savory. To the pots—ready, set, go!
Delicious protein porridge

Porridge is already one of the most ingenious meals for any occasion. At the same time, our Protein Porridge is one of the easiest recipes with protein powder, making this classic even more delicious, creamier, and, of course, significantly higher in protein. More precisely, each serving contains a solid 24 g.
Take your favorite berries, fresh or frozen (don't forget to briefly boil them first), and mix them with oats, soy yogurt, and plant-based milk, as well as, of course: Vegan Protein Berry. This enhances the fruity note, but essentially every flavor works wonderfully in your porridge. Stir, let it soak for a few hours, and enjoy!
Overnight oats with chocolate flavor

Enjoy dessert and a nutrient-rich mini-meal with our Chocolate Overnight Oats. To make them, blend a typical shake with plant-based milk and Vegan Protein. But instead of drinking it right away, stir it into a mashed banana.
Then add the remaining ingredients: oats, chia seeds, extra cocoa powder, and, if desired, a little vanilla extract. Simply leave it to soak in the refrigerator overnight, and your delicious meal prep is ready.
Protein Smoothie x3

With our Protein Smoothie x3, you can take your regular protein shakes to the next level: it turns them into a truly delicious, fruity drink!
We've put together our three favorite varieties for you: bright yellow Mango-Passion Fruit, red berries, and the green Freshy. They're all equally easy to prepare:
- First, wash, peel, and cut your fruit or vegetables into pieces.
- Then add it to a powerful blender with all the other ingredients and blend for about one minute.
- Finally, simply pour it into a glass and enjoy.
Tip: If you don't have a countertop blender, you can also try using an immersion blender in a tall container—it usually works just as well.
Vegan baked oats

Our 17 sophisticated recipes with protein powder offer a great twist on traditional porridge—in the form of baked oats.
- Preheat the oven.
- Grease the baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Blend all the ingredients into a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle delicious toppings over it, such as nuts, chocolate chips, or berries.
- Let the magic happen in the oven for about 25 minutes at 180 degrees.
The protein bowl

Many recipes with protein powder are also ideal for meal prep. For example, this delicious protein bowl with an impressive 45 g of protein per serving and a dessert-like flavor.
Simply chop the nuts and mash the banana. If you’d rather save your muscles for the gym, the blender can help with that too. Then add your Vegan Protein Cocoa together with (vegan) quark and oats.
Top it off with a chopped protein brownie bar. Enjoy immediately or pack it well to take with you on the go.
Vegan protein pancakes

Here’s how to make our vegan protein pancakes in just 5 steps:
- First comes the magic step: make a flaxseed egg! It’s easy to prepare with ground flaxseed and hot water.
- After letting it sit for 10 minutes, mix your flaxseed egg with all the other ingredients. The blender creates an especially smooth batter.
- Now it’s time for the pan: Heat a small amount of coconut oil in it.
- For mini pancakes, add 1 tbsp of batter to the pan; for larger pancakes, use 3–4 tbsp.
- As soon as small bubbles appear on the surface, you can flip the pancake and cook it for a few more minutes on the other side.
Tip: Fresh fruit, maple syrup, or applesauce make great toppings, along with probably 1,001 other delicious ideas.
Fluffy protein waffles

Looking for fairground-style waffles with significantly less sugar and more protein? Our fluffy protein waffles make it possible.
Preheat your waffle iron while stirring all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Now add the wet ingredients and mix with a hand mixer or whisk until a thick, smooth batter forms.
Pour the batter into the waffle iron, bake, and ideally invite a few nice people over to share the enjoyment.
Creamy protein pudding

You can also enjoy pudding with plenty of protein, such as our creamy protein pudding. Three varieties provide around 20 g of protein per serving.
Vanilla, chocolate, and berry pudding are all made in almost exactly the same way:
- Heat most of your plant-based drink in a saucepan.
- Whisk the starch into the smaller remaining portion of the drink until smooth.
- As soon as the drink in the pot becomes hot and starts to boil, mix in the small portion containing the starch.
- Stir vigorously until everything thickens and starts to simmer.
- Now remove the pudding from the heat and stir in the protein powder until smooth.
- Add any extra ingredients as special toppings, depending on the type of pudding.
- Cover with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming.
- Once cooled, serve with fruit, vanilla sauce, or other treats.
Easy protein cookies

The flaxseed egg you already know from the pancakes is also useful for a variety of other vegan recipes with protein powder, such as our easy protein cookies.
First, cream the vegan butter with the maple syrup and coconut blossom sugar. Gradually add the applesauce, drink, and vanilla extract. Separately, mix the flour, Vegan Protein Vanilla, baking powder, orange zest, and salt.
Now bring everything together: Stir the flaxseed egg into the other two mixtures and form a smooth dough. Carefully fold in the chocolate chips and soy crunchies. Let it rest briefly, shape the cookies, and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for around 10 minutes, until they are nicely crisp.
Vegan protein Bolognese

Our delicious recipes with protein powder can also take a savory turn. You can easily create our vegan protein Bolognese.
Soak your soy chunks in vegetable broth. Then fry them with onions and finely chopped vegetables in a little olive oil. Add the tomato paste and garlic afterward. Deglaze your sauce with red wine or an alternative.
Now add the strained tomatoes, a variety of spices, and your ace up your sleeve: unflavored protein powder dissolved in a little pasta water! Stir everything together and then pour it over your pasta—ideally one that is also high in protein.

Would you have thought that you could create a béchamel for our refined lasagna with wraps using protein powder, vegan crème fraîche, and a plant-based drink?
Simply prepare a vegan Bolognese in a few steps by combining soy chunks, vegetables, and strained tomatoes into a hearty sauce. Add the sauce as the base to your lasagna dish, then place protein wraps on top as lasagna sheets, followed by more sauce and some of your refined béchamel. Add more protein wraps and continue in this way until the dish is full enough to match your appetite.
Protein pan pizza

Here’s how to prepare our protein pan pizza without yeast dough and with top macros:
- Knead all the dough ingredients, including Vegan Protein Neutral, into a dough.
- Place the dough on a work surface generously dusted with flour and shape it into a pizza.
- Now place it in a nonstick pan and cook it on the stovetop over medium heat.
- Meanwhile, add the sauce and cheese on top and bake everything under a lid until the crust turns brown.
- Add vegan salami or smoked tofu, then place your pan pizza in the oven at 180 degrees for a few minutes.
- Remove from the oven and enjoy!
Delicious DIY protein bar

After all the savory delights, our recipes with protein powder also include something sweet that no active lifestyle should be without: DIY protein bars.
First, take your dry ingredients—such as oats, Vegan Protein, and so on—and mix them together. Then add the oil, plant-based drink, nut butter, and flaxseed egg. Stir everything into a proper batter. Add more sweetness if desired, depending on your taste.
Almost done: Now place the batter as a whole, about 1.5 cm thick, on a baking tray and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes, until it looks beautifully golden brown. After removing it from the oven, let it cool briefly, then cut it into small bars.
Delicious protein brownies

You can make protein brownies extra quickly here: Simply soak dates as a sweet base, then blend them with all the other ingredients in a mixer to form a batter.
Optionally top with Choco-Chips in a baking dish, then bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Finally, cut into attractive brownie cubes and enjoy.
Chocolate Protein Mousse

Enjoying a dessert with a whole 34 g of protein? It’s easy with our chocolate protein mousse:
- First, melt your chocolate over a bain-marie.
- Then blend all the ingredients except the aquafaba until smooth.
- Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator while you whip the aquafaba until frothy.
- Now carefully fold the aquafaba into the mixture without stirring vigorously.
- You can now transfer your finished mousse into attractive dessert glasses and leave it in the refrigerator for several hours to become wonderfully airy.
- Decorate with fruit or desiccated coconut—or enjoy it plain.
High-Protein Tiramisu

Our high-protein tiramisu brings homemade tiramisu indulgence to your home—without the need for an elaborate cooking course in Bella Italia.
You can make the crema with vegan skyr and Vegan Protein Vanilla, among other ingredients. For the light, airy middle, whip the aquafaba and carefully fold it into the crema. For the coffee layer, mix strong espresso with Vegan Protein Iced Coffee.
Now it’s time to layer: Dip your ladyfingers into the coffee mixture, then arrange them as the base in a dish. Spread half of the crema over the ladyfingers. Add a second layer of ladyfingers, then cover it with the remaining crema.
The Protein Ice Cream Recipe

You can even make delicious protein ice cream from your protein powder by mixing Vegan Protein Cocoa—or your preferred flavor—with almond drink, maple syrup, a little salt, and guar gum for extra creaminess.
Then simply transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 24 hours. Afterwards, you can process it further in an ice cream maker for an even more indulgent result, or simply enjoy it as is if it is already creamy enough for you.
